If you want somebody killed you will need to pay somebody to come down to your claim (i assume you have a claim, as if you dont this is what happens) to then track this person and kill them.

Plus the person who stole from you and killed your friend could be doing it in responce to a crime your friend committed. There are two sides to every coin.
