--------------------------- About Me ---------------------------
Hey, so I am known as Valky to pretty much everyone on pretty much everything. Basically im looking for anything from a village to just 2-3 other people to play HnH with.
Im a slight no lifer, am 18, internet is kinda bad at the moment so HnH is one of the few things which im able to play online, so im playing HnH anywhere from 3-8 hours a day, depending on whats happening. My timezone is GMT+0, England.
What else I play other then HnH? If I can I play eve online, have played it for 3 years now and have led successful corps in industry and pvp, have gone at it lone wolf and with alliances (star fraction, apocalypse now, shadow cartel)
I also play Mount and Blade: Warband with friends. I will pretty much play anything from an RTS to a RPG if it is good, especially if online. And im a big fan of Demons Souls and Dark souls for console, anything challenging.
--------------------------- World 4 ---------------------------
I first started playing in world 4, me and 3 american friends started a little village together, nothing major but we each had a large log cabin each, I was the hunter / gatherer. I went into MM, scouting, gathering resources and casing structures to see if they were abandoned and if so loot them (wasn't much into criminal activities) didn't get much tech to be honest, ran around in nettle and then leather gear with a backpack and sling shot. One of my american friends was a farmer and I saw him get quite alot done, would find him chickens along with all other animals for farming. Would also find him any seeds / plants found in an abandoned place. The second friend was pretty much our craftsmen, he would stay at home, farm materials locally, come with me to get anything specific he needed from a node and had all the skills for boat building, cart building etc. The last was our fighter, he ended up just kind of hunting stuff with me in the end but he was going into pvp combat to try fend off pretty grievers or thieves.
--------------------------- World 5 ---------------------------
Then I came back to world 5 with a real life friend and we actually got quite high tech, I found myself once again being the hunter / gatherer, chasing dragonfly's round swamps, farming leeches to fish with, farming lots of fish, filled like 5 cupboards with good quality cooked meat, together we made a small homestead with a palisade tucked into the side of a cliff, which had a cave there. Played that for a while and from lots of use of the wiki and forums I got used to the new curiosity mechanic and pretty much learnt everything basic. Thing that stopped us playing on there was the fact he moved to Australia and it turns out the internet isn't so good over there.
--------------------------- World 6 ---------------------------
Now, in world 6, I joined a small, simple village with good people in it, we started getting more and more advanced and had progressed massively within 2 weeks. I started to just save up my LP, I would help around the village with logging, building, sorting, moving and outside the village I would travel about the area and scout, salvaging anything of value and bringing it back, I would also find wild animals and tame them, bringing them back to the village. As we had a couple of higher LP hunters we were supplemented with almost limitless amounts of anything that came from an animal, and I built up my strength high enough within a few days to go into the mines (only had 1 miner as stone in our area was very hard) After helping out with mining I found my true job within the village, which was the village smith. I could mine but I found myself constructing additional metalworking instruments at high qualities and having my own smithery corner within the village. The 2 miners we had would dump all the ore into chests and I would take the ore from the chests and then smelt it, after smelting it I would continue with the process of making wrought for the wall and steel for equipment, After I had produced the metal they village lawspeaker and chief would simply ask for an item to be produced and I would make it at the highest quality possible with what I had and supply them once it was all done.
I would keep everything managed and had 100% of my stats put into smithing and a high strength, meaning I could mine and increase my crafts softcap.
But I found that I had no LP income what so ever. So I made a new character which was made to be a self sufficient hunter / ranger, as my first character was built around the villages needs and not my own. As this character developed I was constantly increasing my exploration, ate perception, agility and strength foods and then started putting points into MM. Though in LP terms it is still a young character but is being formed well.
So why am I not still with this village? long story short a large alliance decided to occupy our territory and wiped out our peaceful little village, me and friends, if anything, as refugees fled with a wagon, quickly grabbing anything of value that was left and fleeing, using the cow from my homestead / village outpost which was built by me about 5 minutes away. We founded a small homestead for the 4 of us (all friends from outside HnH) but same thing happened as the alliance expanded over us at which point, not wanting to rebuild for a second time in a row, stopped playing.
--------------------------- Conclusion ---------------------------
Im a hunter / gatherer, I scout alot, I have a very good memory, I can memorise river systems and land formations just from travelling them once or twice, im cautious and patient, im generally a nice person, not being into myself but I just cant be hostile to people with no reason, and don't really get angry easily so even people being rather frustrating I don't find myself raging at them or breaking relations. So in a whole ive found im a decent diplomat too, whether its trading or working out a ceasefire. Last thing im not really into thieving, I will case a joint for a day or so and if there isn't any activity, and it has the characteristics of somewhere abandoned then I will go poke around and salvage anything of use. I don't tend to want to waste LP on trespassing etc. I still have / use both the characters I made, one good at smithing and one, becoming a good hunter / ranger. So both can be brought along if that is fine.
Anyway I hope all this sums me up enough for your decision to be clear, PM me of course, im up for pretty much anything as long as it isn't a large city or something like that. As I said above, a small simple village or even just a group of 2-3 people in a small homestead.
Thanks for reading.
