Looking for friends.

Hey everyone, I've been playing this game for about 2 days now and am loving it so far, I like to think I'm picking it up really quickly and the time has come to search for some friends as it's getting a little lonely ( The only hearthling I've seen is someone sleeping and I left a runestone note beside them that says "I like watching you sleep." )

I have a little cabin built with a kiln and cauldron a few containers lying around a fair bit of food and all the other necessities for survival so far, I am looking for anybody that is relatively new to the game that wants to learn together and have fun.
I also have a lot of dead chickens and rabbits ( I hope that doesn't make me wierd? ) No criminal record that I know of except I stole some apples from a dead guy.. ( sorry dude ) I'm a 21 year old male from Australia.

Some initial advice-

Don't swim until you've leveled up CON
Don't trust people too quickly unless you've got nothing to lose
Don't stockpile wealth until you've got a way to protect it (walls, claims, a character/friend willing to hunt down thieves)

The game is online. Make a post to join a village if you're lonely but most find it easier to play as a hermit for a little bit first to learn the game . If you make a post to join a villlage give info about your self like timezone/age/jobs wanted/ hours played a day and so on. Good luck and have fun.

Oh and if you die don't rage chalk it up as a learning experience and move on
