Do you know how to do any basic maintenance yourself? If yes, it's easy. Remove battery, top and bottom bezels, keyboard, sometimes the screen, and then remove the fan. Really simple stuff all in all. You can find guides on Youtube of how to do it, and fans for less then $20, including shipping, on Ebay.

If i would fix it myself and fail then the guarantee cannot help i think, My friend Said something like that ( he got an Mac).
