Wanderer Looking To Settle Down

Postby Etherdrifter » Sun Jun 10, 2012 3:05 pm

I've spent a long time wandering the lands of haven, mostly setting up odd dream catchers for people, living off what I forage and occasionally settling down with a small cottage before being burned out by the local grifers.

I've wandered long enough methinks and am looking for a village that is happy to let me tend my orchards.

But what can I offer you? I've somehow (well mostly through gathering glimmermoss I will admit) gathered every skill in game so if you need something crafting where quality is not an issue I am more than able to help. Then again given my skills the quality shouldn't be too bad.

I'm happy to teach people a few things, usually I keep a basket of curios outside my home for anyone to help themselves (mostly swamp curios since I favour those) and generally I'd rather socialise over a pot of tea and a pipe of tobacco than work hard labour. Of course I do grow my own tea and baccy.

I come ready supplied with my own seeds, though I will confess my last orchard was griefed to hell before I could get any seeds from it so I will be starting over tree wise.

My stats are below:

Strength 11
Agility 10
Intelligence 23
Constitution 12
Perception 38
Charisma 19
Dexterity 15
Psyche 11
Unarmed Combat 50
Melee Combat 1
Marksmanship 1
Exploration 85
Stealth 20
Sewing 40
Smithing 1
Carpentry 50
Cooking 40
Farming 50
Survival 55

Now for a few cons (since I am basically honest apparently)

I'm not the most active person in the world, preferring to drop in and out to tend my forests. Not really looking to drain any resources, though some way of being able to reach the outside world so I can forage for a few curios would be welcome.

I would prefer a 15x15 plot to build my own little cottage, in a forest setting for preference but I am more than capable of growing my own if need be. I will need a little help clearing out a cellar (yep, got my own bar of iron (smelted in a long abandoned mine may I add)) but otherwise I shouldn't be a drain on resources.

So, to sum up. If you're looking for a retired explorer with a good set of skills for emergency production, an easygoing approach to life and green fingers I'm your man. If you're looking for a no lifer willing to tend your 20x20 field I am NOT your man!

I don't mind foraging, as long as you know I'll be pulling the odd run for a sack full of curios for anyone who wants em and mostly tending to my trees ^_^
