Improving current camp (Need people)

Postby Leotlas » Sun Jun 24, 2012 10:41 pm

====================

Purpose

I am trying to make my own village with other players. There will be no need for arguments also if it doesn't help at all.
I'll try set up the houses, farms, and walls also. I and the "other players" will gather materials also.
If there are any suggestions of any sort, everyone in the community of the "village" will have to agree on it.
When a player leaves the community, they'll be respected by their choice.
When a player gets removed from the community, they'll be disrespected because of their actions.
I'll claim the land. Anyone can join unless you completely don't know what to do in Haven & Hearth.

====================

Rules

1. No complaining (If you have a problem, make it constructive criticism.)
2. Respect other players
3. Be nice (There is no good point of being mean anyways.)
4. Listen to your superiors
5. No yelling (Like using all capital letters)
6. No stealing from other "village" members (Why steal when you can just ask?)
7. Don't be a problem (If you're told to stop, you should stop.)
8. Move your hearth fire when told.

====================

Day's Report

1. Barely anyone looked at the tread.
2. Next day was a few people joining me to find a location. Settled down and made camp.
3. We work on making a farm and we made a chicken coop.
4. Attempted to organize because crates were in the way of everything.
5. Expanded a lot. 3 people left because they thought of myself too controlling even though the purpose said what I was gonna do. They stole 3/4 or 2/3 of everything. Not respecting them for that. 2 people are in both sides but not sure of 1. Recruited a few people but needed space for the hearth fire.
I'll still continue even though I almost lost everything. Good there are 2 roosters now and wasn't stolen. Everything was good quality. Created a 2 ovens and a kiln. Taking some of the food, tons of bones, boar tusks, bear teeth, a deer antler, and bars. Bars was originally theirs.
6. I am betting that the village will die out if no one likes to join at all. I just found a threat mentioning
"We have been watching.. The Darkness will consume every last one of you.....Fear us.." with a skeleton.
I think it's pathetic to just make threats.
7. Solved it out I guess. Palisade is finally done. With the new members to help, the process is much better.
I am not looking forward to the future though.

====================

Needing

1. Need command-able people to help more.
2. Need two adviser.
3. Finish twenty-third goal.
4. Finish eighteenth goal.
5. Need thoughtful people who think of others more than themselves.

====================

I guess I'll have to be more patient.

With the way the game is now it will take some time to find villagers. If you have a guard (a character capible of killing noobs) then recruit noobs, you just have to keep a close eye on them and kill them if they break rules and try to leave.

You seem really setup, People like that. But before you ask for people to join you should probably figure out where your going to be building first.

I can help on location of a village. Thats all i can really help with cause right now im running my own.

I wish the best of luck to you.

I'm just going to let the "village" members decide the location. Don't want much arguments so.

Well for a village to survive you need 2 things right away:

Bricks

and

Metals.

Without them kiss your village goodbye. So go prospecting untill you find iron, Hope to the hearth gods that that iron is near a mudflat or a river. Good soil wont hurt eather. Also if theres other villages really close by you might have some problems.

If your village has them things near it, no one will really care.

But if thats the way you want to run it, so be it. It is your village after all.

Are you serious?, why killing someones toon for wanting to leave?. Not every place is for everyone and might be nice players and allies or even friends in the future.
(Im not speaking of them stealing, griefing, and etc.)
Besides that, if word spreads on you killing your recruits for wanting to leave you might never get any more villagers, as hard as it is now to get villagers imagine if they know this idea of killing them.

Well ... maybe I am such a noob that do not understand the ways on H&H and have been so lucky that found a village where people is treated with respect even being noobs and even wanting to leave, and also people that left in a good way is taken back with no issues.
