Looking for people to play with/colonize with.

Pretty Much:

I joined the game about 48 hours ago. I've managed to understand the concepts of discovery and curiosities to gain 'experience'. I understand that I need to discover materials to unlock the option to craft/build new things, with the necessary skills purchased.

I've got the basic skills of farming, pottery, cooking and hunting along with a little bit of the fighting.
Typing everything I have out is a bit too long. Pretty much, I can survive without the aid of others.

Playing on my own has got a bit boring, I've invited friends to play with me but they don't seem to enjoy the game as much as I do.
So yeah, I've gotten into the process of creating a forum account so I can see the activities of others.

Anyone willing to allow me to join them? I'll behave.

I'll happily abandon my personal camp and join yours.
However:
Does linking up with another player mean I have to create a new character? Or is it possible for me to somehow get my current character to their/your location?

Unlike most people I don't seek to be the best. I enjoy having a fun time and working together towards something.
Only reason I made this thread is because I was getting a little lonely and bored making my beachside residence.

Here's a tip. Look for fur trees. They give bough and fur cones to make cone cows, spruce beds, and leantos. I reccomend that you live near a forest with apple trees, hazel trees, and mulberry trees. Try living next to a river, too. *wink*

Sorry for double-posting, but I feel the same way. One time I saw these 2 guys on my CoreDiamond account (I don't know how I see them, but I could.), I say hi, and then they use a battering ram on the wall seperating us, and they kill me. And then I couldn't play that account again.

I already have a little camp.
It has a kiln, quite a few crates and i'm 1/3 through building a cabin.

Thank you for your advice though, however i'm slightly past the stage you assume i'm at.

Only problems I'm facing is I cannot find any animals, mountains or swamps.
So far i've caught 2 chickens, 1 rabbit and god knows how many frogs and rats.
