Looking for village

My character is an experienced pioneer/agriculturist/seamstress looking for a new home. I joined this world half a year ago with some friends and then some vandals destroyed our village. Now I am back and only have the trees to talk to. I am from the US and live in the eastern time zone. Looking for a settled village that could provide me with a safe place to live (at least have Palisade walls, and a mine), and most importantly have mature, responsible people.
