Looking for villagers

Postby Eemerald » Fri Sep 28, 2012 4:22 pm

Hey all,

I'm currently looking for more active villagers, mainly looking for nature players, farmers, silk people, animal breeders, tree people etc.

I would be interested in forming a small town that will be supported by my main town. This is really for new players or those who would like some support ingame. NOT protection, if you leave accents you will be asked to leave. It will follow similar rules to Emerald city but with more input from people about their roles and village set up.

Can you give as much information as possible below or by pm.

Age
Time zone
How much you play
How long youve played
Jobs you like ingame
Game experience
Villages you've been in
People you've played with
Skype?
Any other info

Only over 18's please

Thanks
Emerald

Why do we have to be 18? Isn't being mature what your looking for, not whether a person is old or not? :l

In every cupboard in Emerald's village there is a parchment with a paragraph from an erotic novel.

She doesn't want anyone under 18 to accidentally stumble upon these parchments.

that is not a bad idea!

But seriously, there's a few reasons for the age thing.

1. I played most of world 5 with teenagers, and honestly, as mature as some seem to me, when they mix with others their age they act like idiots. and the majority, ended up doing really dumb shit, or i became their mother figure, which really when i work with teenagers, i like to come home and play and relax without dealing with more teenage drama in a game

2. Much of the village chat and skype village chat consists of pretty graphic sexual content. I realise that teenagers probably know more than me about sex ( minus the actual having sex part:P) but i dont feel very comfortable having a 14 yr old in a chat with adults discussing such topics. it is awkward and uncomfortabke.

3. maturity for a 14 yr old is different than most adults. I say most adults because ive exiled a lot of over 18's who have the maturity of a 5 yr old. but in general the older a person is irl the more mature they are

4. also from experience, younger players tend to like being given stuff for doing very little work and dont do any work until you specifically tell them what to do. even if they have a specific job, such as hunting, which normally means, you go and hunt animals. however, unless someone tells them, go hunt an animal, they dont do anything.

I have had slightly younger players, 16/17 year old this world. They are fine and still part of the town, but they were people i'd allied with and played with for a while before they joined the town so knew what they were like. yu cant really do that with players u've never met or played with.
