This is not about seeing who is better fighter or making a gank squad its about helping newbies learn basic ua you come you learn if you want to stay you can help train others if not you leave and start your own village nothing to gain or lose but the knowlege. i dont clame to be a great fighter just somone that knows the basics that would like to show others. if this sounds like somthing for you im starting applications now but camp will not open for a few more weeks. Also since posting this I have been asked about animal taming so this will also be a training activity.
What a great idea! Just what I needed too. I'm not a newbie exactly but no expert either. But like Amanda I;m into the mechanics of things and get frustrated with things that appear too have no [or poor] logic to me. Well her case sounds a bit on the extreme side but I was able to relate.
Hunting is one of my favorite pastimes so I have some experience there, my problem is I've concentrated almost entirely on marksmanship. And because of that I find bears easier than boars to hunt. I've tried many times to chase my boars when they run but unlike the fox, boars never stop moving even when they come back, so i need to be able to fight them properly.
I have tried reading about unarmed and teaching myself but it seems to be something I cannot learn on my own. And as for taming that is something I have been trying real hard to understand, but suck really bad at. I usually end up just feeding wild auruchsen with clovers, and filling buckets with the precious milk instead of raising my own. I had a large crew when I started and we were just learning this stuff when everyone quit. We used to spar with each other and practiced taming. Unfortunately they all quit before I could get much hands on time myself.
App:
time played : a few months [i have a lot more time to play now than I did most of that time]
charactor stats : Not sure which alt I should train with - I'd hate to make a new one, and waste time building it up to performance level when I already have several that could jump right in and begin training.
what you want out of the training camp : to gain a deeper understanding of the combat system and get taming right
how often you can log on and train. : Every day, though I have an application in at New Horizons Camp so if they respond I may have to budget my time a bit but I think I can swing it
what time zones : Just one, GMT-5
