Fir Cone + Branch = 180 LP every 20 minutes
Fishing + Carpentry (+ Lumberjacking) -> Boat Building = 1950 LP

Eleven Cone Cows, a rabbit, stone, and branches for the materials, 220 minutes of study time, and you've got a boat, bro. You can eat Spindly Taproots, pick Apple trees, catch Rabbits and roast the meat on a fire. I'm sure you've got trees somewhere. You're in for a long trek if you want to join up with anyone, probably, unless you have 26 Strength to destroy your Hearth (and plenty of food for the stamina loss). Regardless, if you haven't already found someone, hit me up with your coords and we can see how close we are.

for a rabbit all u need to do is get really close to it and then double click on it quickly. you need to make sure u have 4 spaces that are 2x2 in your inventory otherwise u wont get a rabbit.

also to fish u dont need a boat u can fish easily just standing at the river shore.

there's a lot u can eat by foraging, nuts from trees and apples etc are good enough so ur charachter wont die.

If you were able to travel to my town id be fine with giving u food, but without a boat that's probably unlikely

i am having a hard time understanding the lay out of the world and i dout that i would be able to travel to you house on the acount that the land above me is owned and the land below me. I been eating apples and forgeingin from trees but my biggest problem i found out is that i cant progress any more i dont know a way to get lp effecently. i treid to get combs for the cows but they are not around my area, when i when out of my area and traveld for serval days south. during my travels i ran into a group of boars but as a result of my low lp i couldnt hunt them and i ended up getting punched untill i couldnt move. It wasnt a fun experance but i did find a huge farming villiage though every town i see or tried to commincate with is dead and the town looks to be a bandonded for days if not longer. If there is a way to get the better lp and to find some bodies i be happy. At least some that are not dead from starvation or from combat, on a side note i think it is unfair that i cant steal some bone from a dead body i mean they not going to use it when they are dead and i could make wheels and boats with the bone saw.

if land is claim u just go to ur adventure menu and start criminal acts to trespass them until ure away from them. u wont be able to take anthing inside a claim but at least it'll move u away from them.

getting better curios requires u to icnrease ur exploration and for a newb charachter it all starts with mass producing one cows and foraging dangelions and studying them until u can make bark boats and chariots. also u should be attacking ant hills thought that might be dangerous for u, since u dont have any armour, only way to do it safely it to attack, run to a boat, move off till they reach water and once they do u can go back and get the ant hill again and they wont cause damage. ant hills are good for curios and food.

i would go to the terrain thats pink dandelions seem to appear a lot there, and u get chickens in abundance around there.

also dont take hair from cows...once might be luck and they wont attack, but they will. i got greedy in world 4 and got two hairs, and went for a third and got smashed to pieces.

Also don't forget to check out the wiki for a list of curiosoities http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Curiosities, and a bunch of other useful information. And this should help with food, if not just to reiterate what Eemerald said above: http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Find_food! Follow the links on there and check the main page and you should find a lot of information to help you along.
And yeah, the game is pretty dead. The lesser can't handle the lag.
