I would like to start an Inn

It might be a crazy idea, but i'd like to start an Inn. I'm thinking, build a stone mansion, have a gate keeper let give trespasse permissions, and take them bake away, charge for the drinks and smoke, have a top floor for beds, charge for the bed, ect. I need people to make this happen though. PM me if you like this. I need people of all play times, bilingual people, the works. I think it's Obvious what to call the "INN of _______"








Edit: Did alot of reading the forums and somehow missed that there was actually a Brodgar in game... Stupid mistake on my part. But My Post Still Stands! Just with a different Inn Name. I somewhat fancy "The Dragons Dumpling"

It's really about the atmosphere and what not. A place where people can gather on neutral grounds, trade, socialize, make friends and the like. Plus stalls for trading all types of goods. I would also like to get fighters/Shamans/thief/ guilds set up and give out missions like a traditional rpg. Hunt and gather this, raid these bad guys, chop my some trees, ect.

Like... Inn of brodgar? :P

I think there's an inn at Brodgar already, you should go take a look and learn how it works. :) (Brodgar is much safer tho, at least many people there are willing to help)

Somewhat like that, but more to it. I'm thinking attached bud farm/other crops, Hero's guild for posting bounties and hiring Badassery, Thieves guild for cloak and dagger hires, smithy, ect. Think about that RPG town where you get missions, and party members. I want to give out missions to guide nubes through the process and accelerate it for veterans.

I like this idea. Actually there's a similar system running between core members of Hoiah T.C. since a few months ago, but unfortunately my plan of expanding had been canceled because of the lag. You could see the very first version of that in Hoiah T.C. thread. :P So far it works fine between the core members but when it comes to public, there'll surely be more issues and so I decided not to expand.

Yeah that's more like it. I can see the problem but i think it's solvable. That's why I post. We need enforcers, mission givers, the like. We need somewhat of a standing military of disposable alts, crafters, gatherers...lol the whole nine yards. I think it would be worth trying.

Positions needed-(number of people needed)
Brewer/cook- (2-6)
Finishes all consumables, stocks stalls for sale
Farmer/ranchers- (4-10)
Grows the wheat, tobacco, hemp, ect, and handles all domesticating of animals
Barhop/server-(4-8)
Helps customer whilst keeping a watchful eye upon supplies and behavior of patrons
Melee/unarmed Guard-(10-20)
Squash/Dice any problem causers
Archers-(10-20)
Poke holes through any problem causers
Jack of all trade/explorers-(2-8)
Maintenance, filling in where short, promotion.

All members would be responsible for handling "quests" for any associates/trainee in their respective fields.
To be an associate, one would have to work their way up a ladder of "Quests" that is best started with a new character to receive most benefit. When the Quest line is complete the "Associate" Would get better prices, a village invitation(to be a part of the team), and an Iron weapon.
