megam8s pack up and port home after a hard days work

It is a sad day indeed today, first Fartman-Coolguy, downed in transition of a river, with a hoard of baddies in toe and now FDGods and Schime.

It all started yesterday, a typical megam8 day in which we rally together the troops, usually 3-7 and begin to boat around active grids, tracking scents and hoping we'll bump into the Korean/Dis Union... This time however, we decided to take our lovely CR right outside Koki's vault as it seems the retard after seeing us port there earlier this month, still hadn't broken the crossroad.

So, as usual it started with some boring ass shit talk, in which broken english insults were thrown to the megam8s and some lame ass wall spars happened, when suddenly!!! Swegles alerts the pals that there is dragon helmers heading from the north of the lake at a super sneaky CR.

We quickly scramble together and begin some super fun, awesome, amaze boat battling!!! Stacking coins and counting enemies. Eventually some megam8s ground there boats and are chased in land, Swegles kitting El Mariachi and some other baddies. Some other megam8s ground their boats as well and attempt to assist poor Swegles who is clearly out numbered. Eventually after some stylish plays, Fartman Coolguy picks up Aptem, who'd been movement punched and cornered on the side of a river, drops him off on the other side and then returns for Swegles, who at this stage is being ganked on by 5+ people. Thankfully Fartman-Coolguy returns and safely picks up Swegles and boats him out of immediate danger.

Fast forward and the chase continues! Juicy J, Aptem and Fartman-Coolguy are stacking coins, in separate boats heading south down a river, with some of the Holy Union close behind. Suddenly the m8s are cutoff by more of the Holy Union and a hasty decision is made, Aptem is forced to ground his boat and Fartman-Coolguy, being best pal to Aptem decides he'd rather stay with his pal than attempt some boat manuvers (they were never his strong point).

A few more coins are stacked as the duo runs east towards another river at this stage the union is close behind both Aptem and Fartman. Aptem yolo's into the group and lands an evil eye on El Mariachi, however there is still close behind fartman and another hasty decision is made to bail across the river. Fartman enters the water for what would be the last time he ever felt the cold embrace of the icy water. His muscles freeze as he see's one of the union boating up the river towards him, he's going to be trapped... Fartman reaches the half way mark and yet another boater appears! A shining ray of hope as Fartman tanks the fury of punches and slashes and the foes have to turn around. Fartman attempts to hop into the adversaries boat, however is unable to do so and sadly takes another punch zeroing his defence yet again. El Mariachi is closing in, with some attack and a valorus strike queue'd this could be it and it is, Fartman-Coolguy is KO'd in the water and moments later drowns... THE NEXT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet again, another typical day for the megam8s, the drama on the forums is still going on from the other night and our glorious and almighty leader, ih8ppl decides it's time to boat around and look for some places to bash (alone I might add). After an hour or so, during the "Korean prime time" as we refer to it, he happens upon a nettle hearthling. ih8ppl quickly downs the suspected korean player and continues on... when suddenly!!!! Another hearthling is found, this time it's wearing a pumpkin head. He rushes in to engage the foe, who has his defence instantly broken and is hit for damage! But what! The enemy doesn't go down, this means that he has some UA, but is still no match for the glorious leader and is quickly downed.

Fearing that more may be on the way, the troops are called! FDGods and his best pal Schime, all three of the m8s are heading towards each other when ih8ppl spots 2 Dhelmers heading his way. At this stage the numbers are good, it should be a decent fight... but another suspected Korean player appears in another boat Annnnnnnnnnd another. 4 v 3, we like these odds, so the m8's decide to stack some coins and bring the fight onto land. As we ground the boats and begin fighting both sides take some valorus D's it seems we're not dealing with your average run of the mill players and there stats are decent. A few plays and near misses and the fight moves north ever so slightly. Suddenly another dot on the minimap appear and someone else comes into render, an archer this time. The m8s decide that it's not a problem and continue to fight the foes.

The fight moves north east away from the boats and further inland, a call is made to attack one of the foes! Schime initiates the attacks, however it appears Schime yolo'd too hard and has his defence rekt, while also lowering the foes defence as well. Schime then continues to manuver the others foes, with FDGod's by his side, however, sadly he's clipped and recieves a punch to the throat and then a Valrous D to the sternum, dropping Schime onto his back. Quickly Ih8ppl drops the foe that had lower defence with a movement hit, sending him sprawling to the ground. FDGods at this time quickly rushes one of the foes who appears to be waiting for the killing blow on Schime and is evil eye'd just in time, causing the chop to fail and Schime to continue breathing, ih8ppl then also rushes into aid of their fallen comrade, also forcing another foe to miss his oppurtunity to attack, however with a 3rd dhelmer next to schime, his pals are powerless to stop the crushing force of the next chop. Schime mutters something along the words of "WorldSt@r" before his final breath and the fight continues. FDGod's quickly ends the life of the still down suspect korean and then heads south with his trusty pal ih8ppl, now more appear on screen and the numbers are stacked against the m8s, it's time to bail but with the lag so great it's going to be hard.

The chase continues on, through some cliffs and then diverts east, towards where another pal with boats is waiting, this however is quiet some distance away and would end up taking 10+ minutes to reach his bud. During this time FD God's fails to fill their waterskin and is caught up to by 3 of the dhelmers, he recives two attacks, tanking both, however a third pirces his armor and sends him to the ground. ih8ppl frantically tries to assist his buddy, however the rest of the group have caught up at this time and the harsh decision is made to leave FDGod's, besides he'll see him in Valhalla anyways!

The chase continues, but with some MLG running, ih8ppl easily escapes to his pal Aptem waiting in a boat, but not before a final attempt to get some revenge is enacted! ih8ppl swims a river, with Aptem patiently waiting just off screen, once one of the foes is halfway through the river, a boat block and movement punch is attempted, however this toon has some UA and only has his defence knocked to ~60 with a movement punch, ih8ppl attempts to chop, but sadly it doesn't work. Rather than risking the lives of more m8's, they quickly retreat leaving the Holy Union behind to fight another day.
