so...if imma understanding this right, when the asshats kill you cause your house is in the way of their path to the river (I guess that's why...still not sure why it happened) you lose everything? i understand about you don't get your LP back. but you can't even return to your old camp? then why have any sort of inherit if you are going to be thrown out into the wild to totally start over? also, while im bitching, a friend of mine called this game "Troll and Harth-Vault". never before realized how true that was....

You do know that you can respawn to your hearthfire after inheriting by going up the ladder UNLESS your hearthfire(aka the now pile of sticks sitting there) is smashed, right?

never had them smash the hearthfire before. seems like a new level of asshattery. and why would i join a village? to be locked behind walls farming all day or down in a cave mining? no thank you. prefer to wander around a do my own thing. which means i can't bitch when i get killed for being alone. ah well. thank y'all for answering.

btw, we had a guy in global-chat last night who died with no hearth fire and inherited without knowing this gonna happen, yet he said he succeeded finding himself on the map at the new location he spawned and even his old claim later. involves so much traveling back to his camp, but i praise him for not giving up easily.
