Concerning Oath kills

Postby The_Sun » Sat May 31, 2014 4:15 pm

The oath killings in late world 7 seem to have been piling up.
This is not acceptable.

What, is trade no longer sacred? Even between rival factions, oath killings didn't occur, but now a days it's like there's one every few days, and on major players too.
It's already fishy enough, with all the big boy traders packing shop 'cause Haven sux and J&LO are kind of pulling a world 6.

I mean, what are people to do? Not trade? Some players need resources and stuff, and the rising number of oath kills is just concerning.
So really, what do?

I've never had any problem, nor have any of my friends ever reported to me that they have.
I'm sure that nearly every case of dishonesty in trade is reported here on the forums, and with the hundred or so trades I've done this world, with the dozens of people, I think that trade is still sacred, and you are blowing this out of proportion.

That said, most of my trades are done at my trade idol..

Perhaps I am blowing it out of proportion, but I've just seen a lot in the last week or 2.

Oathkills are as rare as they always were it seems. I know only a few stories about this kind of scam in haven and it's usually done by same people under different names. Even if you'll add all the other kinds of scam in trade, it is still a very rare thing. Chances to get robbed during trade are insignificant, probably because stolen goods don't worth effort of it's organization usually. Not that many people like to create new accounts here and on skype just to steal a few pearls and repeat it all over again.

If you are really worried about it, then it's not that hard to find a reputable trader who is willing to allow the use of their trade idol for both parties to trade at.
