Massive Personal Claims

Postby sirbacon » Sat Jun 28, 2014 9:46 pm

Hello there! I am a Lawspeaker of a moderate sized village and was wondering if it's considered rude to build banners out to a massive personal claim that is not far from our village to just revoke a multiple super-grid sized claim that just annoys our members when they try to hunt in the area.

If the price claim in several super grids good luck building up the authority to pop it. Bit impossible but will be a ton of banners.

You need 250 authority per tile. If the claim is as massive as you describe you will not be able to declaim it with a medium sized village.

Your best shot is to try and destroy the claim manually which only works when the owner has been inactive for 28 days.

I see... didn't take into account the cost per tile and also I suspect it's a bot building up the claim so the inactive period has not been that long. This thing covers lakes, rivers, and large stretches of land.

There are quite a few of those big claims that can be taken down. If im not mistaken you need at least 81 str with a pickaxe or less with a sledgehammer. Also you need vandalism. You identify the location of the claimstake and then try to destroy it ( A=>Y). Your character will run up to the stake and if the owner was inactive you will see a sandclock. If not your character will just run up to the claimstake and nothing will happen.
Destroying the claim wont leave any summonable scents apart from the trespassing scent when entering the claim.

We've had a few claim busting operations already but this is an active claim that keeps slowly expanding. I went from a hermit escaping from raiders to being the head of a village. I love this game for that reason :D . However I am afraid that we might have to pull a raid in order to keep the area free and clear for hunting, wood cutting, and foraging.

u can put counter claims around his big claim., he would then have to build a village to remove ur claim.

You're better off killing the guy and torturing him for his crimes against Skyrim.

I don't want it to escalate to that level... how ever, I did lose a level 10 bear running away into his claimed land.

If your leader of a medium sized village, you should be able to kill the bear without his claim mattering.
