Nowadays nothing. People have been lying about their identity in-game since the game launched. I've had people tell me they were TeckXKnight in the game before, because I never use my forum name as an in-game name so they didn't know it was me. =)

Did he kill you?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

no but he stole lots of my stuff and broke my things and killed 2 of my alts

no but he stole lots of my stuff and broke my things and killed 2 of my alts
Why would he kill two alts but not your main? How did your alts die?

he knocked me out and whilst he was looking at my stuff h logged off my main and spawned two alts to speak with him
