Why does everyone quit when they die?

Because it sucks to have to start all over with a char. better question is why is every moron in this game killing people. He is right to quit..Permadead is perma dead..Game over

It isn't permadeath = get banned.
I died countless times but never quit.
And what you said isn't true, some morons are peaceful too. Heck, many smart people kill as well.
It doesn't really suck, since there's no real goal in this game, when you die you're as far from finishing the game as you were before you died.
Anyway think of it like this: You don't get your stats 'back up' when you die. You just get your stats up.

The problem is people troll and grief and you never progress past a certain point because you're constantly being trolled to death. I just experienced this recently, a friend was murdered so we didn't log back in for at least 2-3 hours and when we came back dude was just lurking ion our claim waiting to kill us again. He didn't even take anything. Purposeless killing is just troling.

-Okay-, you learn something from that. When someone killed you just for the lulz, don't log back in with an inherit.
You can progress past any point, it's not that hard, just join a good village, take all mesures of precaution and have some will to do all that.
Slightly offtopic, I've recently killed someone near his HF, he inherited, I killed the inherit, he inherited AGAIN and I just KO'd him and called him a moron. The problem is, he would probably inherit many more times, because he has too much hope in him.
Anyway, that's a very common thought you have "Gah, I was killed twice, better quit because I'll be killed countless times". If you like the game, don't quit, you'll progress past that point one day.

sounds like you are the moron, unless you had a decent enough reason to kill this someone over and over to make him quit.

He didn't really quit, I found him at the same place 3 days later and told him to gtfo.
Anyway, he was like 10 tiles away from my base.

why dont you just tell him to settle somewhere else far away? what you did is just telling him to quit in spite of your post.

Obviously because I think that, if someone settles near me, it's reason enough to kill him.

obviously because you think killing the same player over and over helps you both.

I wasn't even trying to help us both, I just wanted him to leave the place. After killing him twice, I expected him to leave with his third inherit.
Edit: Anyway since when do you need a morally right reason to kill someone in this game? He died because he settled near a big village.

i never said that. its just funny how you tell others not to quit after a death when your action doesnt.
