It is a convergence of multiple disciplines and dispositions, a coming together of village relations. This is also very political while not on the face being politicized. It belongs in Congress.

As for the shape of the hub, it should be modular. This is means that 'modules' ,groups of cells, roadwork and other structures, should be able to be added on at later dates, and allow for the location to become ever-expansive, vertically and laterally.

I can work up a design for how I would think an aesthetically pleasing and functional hub would look.

----
On a semi-unrelated note, I did not see that Cells would have within them Crossroads from the Cell owner. How are suppliers expected to move goods into their shops, and how are shoppers expected to arrived to trade hub?

If it is by foot, I definitely recommend creating Double-Gates for wagon access, and for cells to be equipped with Double-Gates themselves or at least designed to allow that upgrade.

It might be altogether wise to create a "Wagon Stable" for the unloading of shipments (and if you don't like teleporting to your Hearthfire, and you simply bought too much, the Loading of shipments too).

I believe a cr sign to the outside of the trade hub will be distributed, no walking required ;)

If there is a cr sign ppl cant come with alts, not everybody has an alt with some agi, and i doubt ppl will come with mains, only if traders get inside cr to their cells.

Some investments do have to be made by the Shopper and the Shop Owner.

A shopper, like getting a car to drive to a mall, would do well for themselves to invest in making an Agility Alt to visit the trade hub.

Also, as a trade hub, it has to appeal to its audience. These are villages and players that have some established body of wealth to trade and barter. Among such groups, there are bound to be individuals with upwards of 100 agility, which should be enough to get most people across a few supergrids at 0 Travel Weariness.

----
I am trying to think of flaws for having Crossroads that are installed in Shop Cells, but I feel they are not truly preventable and are outweighed by the benefits.

Cons would be: Ease of access to hub for malicious players

Pros: Ease of access to hub for traders, shipments, easy stock recovery

I am in favor of a design that allows for Crossroads to be in the Shop Cell.

Sorry for this quick response because im on my phone atm.

In terms of crossroads i dint think it would be wise to have cr in each cell, as if that town is raided then any random person would have access.

A crossroad will be placed between the inner wall and sniper wall for traders to use, it offers them safety to bring items without being in an open area to everyone else. The main gates can then be opened up for specific traders to go into their cell for placing items.

A cr outside the outer gate will be for shoppers. I recommend alta for traders not so much shoppers as thats not entirely controlled. But trader can pass items to an alt and have them there during trade hours. If the area is attacked at least they wint lose a main.
Will respond to anything else later

Are crossroads destructible structures? If they are, a compromised village that connects to a cell can be disconnected from the authorities at the hub, by LS or Chief breaking the Crossroad Post.

If we're to have a single Shop Owner Arrival Zone, then that area can potentially become disastrously harmful to all incoming traders and halt trade.

I feel the risk of a compromised area should be distributed across all the cells. Cells will still be gated and prevent malicious players from moving beyond the Shop Cell.

----
In either event that a Distributed Risk Model is adopted or all the eggs are placed in one basket, the below security measure should be considered:

If a village is compromised, it should be the mission of Trade Hub Authorities to destroy the idol of the compromised village to disable the Crossroad, in the event that a Cell Owning Village should become breached and abandoned. To that end, players/villages registering for ownership of a Shop Cell should provide Eemerald, or a trusted other Hub Authority, with the location of their Connecting Crossroad so that appropriate restoration of the Shop Cell can be made in the event it is compromised.

(The above does not need to take place or become common practice, if the Crossroad Structure can be destroyed/disabled without breaking or securing its attached village idol.)

I support this project, but it seems like a ton of work, not sure if it will be worth the hassle.
We all know that the community by the most part consist of total idiots, so don't expect the structuce to last long.

Especially if it's so big to hold "all" the traders inside, then it's vulnerable to rams from idiots that have nothing better to do than to destroy peace in H&H.

You have my blessing for this, but no idea how I may help there.

Best of luck to you.
