i dont think you can settle where you marked with red. its out of the existing map.
iirc, -170 is the furthest you can go to the west, -178 to the north, 180 to the east, and 172 to the south. (dont ask me why its like that.)
if you are sure that you are somewhere around the mid-west, check the area again and see if you are mistaking with somewhere else. read the op of "Ask Simple Questions here" thread in How Do I section of the forum.

btw, i wouldnt really feel like blaming those who got motivated to kill a village with such a helpless name... sounds like whoever decided to name your village was asking for a raid.

It's not the world edge, the village is within that area and I only know that due to finding a connecting river on the map. It's just not charted on the sabinati map.

[edit] The circled area should be smaller though, I just circled a portion real quick but it is within there.
