Think about how many newbies died without finding their first edel or bluebell since you started playing?

sorry but you cant win with bots....
played over 100 mmo games every game got bots, even blizzard who got milions of dollars has fallen in diablo 3 ... there ppl bot hard for 2-3 months without ban...(and they make alot money on RMAH)
blizzard got money and resources to prevent but they did nothing why? this fight is not worth? they lose alot money probably by this ... they should secure their game better if they can fail

You try prevent but i think not without broke gameplay for common ppl .... and this war is impossible for win
same as shooter fps game every game got aimbot ... its sad but natural deal with it :(

oh i see.

youve never seen a whole mountain brickwalled up for bot-foraging?
either you dont know what is happening out there or you are ignoring it cause it doesnt affect you.
please welcome the botters to your area since you dont mind them and people in other areas may have less bots around.

Seems to me this discussion is going on for the sake of arguing, nothing new is being said for pages on end.

it's a largely free world, if ppl want to bot in my area, theyre free to do so. I don't feel I need to send a general invite to botters though..

and I have seen 1 mountain walled in my whole haven experience. But like ive said a few times, I come from a trading town, most of our foraged items come from trade, so maybe I don't know the extent of the problem and how it effects others, because I don't go out beyond my own area much to forage, cause there isn't a major need for me to do so.

eitherway, as the previous message stated...this is just going on for the sake of arguing. so im out , feel free to have the last word:)

neutrality to me is more important you're right, because that's how I choose to play and how I run my town. It may seem passive to you within a negative connotation, but if I wanted to get into the politics and raid and do what many other towns I could, but I choose to play differently, and those in my town tend to agree with how that style of play is, because it allows us to develop and build things, to create an industry for trade, for development of characters, and to be able to engage in projects that bring enjoyment to this game.

So yes youre right, my towns neutrality and passivity is how we like to play and it's what's important to us.

My point is that you are crippled when making comments in this thread in that even though you "can see why its an issue" you will always refuse to commit to saying something is right or wrong because you are more concerned about your safety and/or profit.

its about the community effort, to stop encouraging this retarded trend any further. and i see you dont care and your word doesnt mean much to me here as mine means nothing to you. (my first encounter with you was indeed filled with loads of empty words too, so nothing surprising.)

i, maybe for the first time, respect nao for keeping his own policy and being consistent with it even when it means to deny his own guys who have played together for quite some time. i remember some people used to express their disgust towards botters and now that they have access to all kinds of bots, they love botting and go defiant about it. all same as goo and burg lol but at least they were hiding in public that they were botting, so they werent encouraging others to follow nor exaggerating to make others believe everyone botting.

I don't see why I should say something some of my villagers do is wrong. One of my villagers is a script writer, he enjoys this game because he can spend time scripting and creating bots to play with. that's how he enjoys haven.
I'm not going to say 'botting is bad' just cause I don't personally use it for myself. Because I do enjoy the dull aspects of the game, I like foraging and doing my own things and im not into script writing or that stuff to care about using bots. it has nothing to do with my safety, or my profit, since my opinion is based on what's around me. I traded plenty last world, and i'm pretty sure a vast majority of people didn't have the same access to bots as they do this world, and me saying I like or dislike botting or botters has no impact on the safety of my town! so im not sure how you conclude this from this discussion on bots.
