There's a reason why the old timers are saying never carry keys. All of us lost villages as nubs to key theft. Or raided villages via keytheft.

Just don't do it. You get used to the keyalt for the couple weeks it takes to get grapes going.

Salem's key system was better for playability but I really do like how you can steal and copy keys in haven for spying/plotting etc
