It takes luck to find the right fish nodes to get plaice and perch from to grind out those skills, so yeah luck plays into it.

This thread is a great example of moderators mostly sabinati, abusing his moderator privileges. Moderators shouldn't be allowed to see peoples IPs. If i truly wanted to, i could of just used an IP scrambler, and then post. This was mostly an experiment to see if sabinati would abuse his powers, and he did, you disgust me.

>>If your wondering what i am talking about, i posted this thread anonymously on a different account, and sabinati abused his mod powers, and then violated my privacy to check all my accounts IP addresses, then proceeded to swich the op post from my alt poster with my main account overtyped, what a scumbag.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

If they ever did that with me I'd raise a lot of eyebrows.

Honestly, Im really glad to see mods do that. Keeps people accountable for their actions, instead of hiding behind an alt like a bitch.

It's a privacy violation.

That doesn't really cut it, since that would suggest that we should use our real life identities.

In Salem, the head moderator gave a reasonable explanation for why mods should be able to check ips: to minimize sockpuppets (sockpuppeting was against the rules there). Far from everyone is tech savvy enough to be able to switch ips, so you'll at least catch those + lazy people.

It's only a privacy violation when you get caught. ;)

How would you like it, if you were at a police lineup, your selecting a criminal, and it isn't a one way mirror?

I'm pretty sure I've seen them do this a couple of times.
