Ain't just russians that do that. Plenty of aggressive factions from other countries too.

There is q40 water node. One minute had thought of downgrading it to q10 because ''claim war'' sucks.

I still think that downgrading it to q10 would be a great lesson.

Owners face should look like this then - QQ

I disagree, especially in that case. The claims are both small enough so that the resource node is semi-public. Resource monopolizers usually don't mess around and make a huge swath of a claim preventing much more access. The claims there are more monopolist deterrant. Griefing the hell out of those nodes hurts the randoms hermits and scavengers that use those secondary sites. And since those resource sites are secondary, it doesn't hurt the monopolists as you'd think.

See that paved tile with bigger claim? There was a well that I built and didn't claim on purpose it wasn't as high quality as river water, but it got claimed the next day and after few more days someone just destroyed it.

Yeah I know that feel it happened to me with a q44 well in W5. You should've put a little claim next to the well but not covering it. But even still griefing the node now does nothing but harm everyone, and it's a total spite move.

Not that I'm against spite moves in principle, but you can't pull those off at the same time when you're trying to act like the little guy standing up to THE MAN.
