Your math is horribly off, that's the wrong formula. With an axe you're doing 2094 damage, a sword roughly 879. Assuming neutrality on martial/peaceful.

quality*str, square rooted, divided by 10, square rooted, multiplied by base damage.

Or, Base damage*sqrt((sqrt(Quality*Strength))/10)

And the main issue is that there's no armor penetration at all

Ummm.... So I missed a parenthesis therefore I am wrong? or did I do it out of sequence?
Let us run this again your way, Because I believe you.

quality*str, square rooted, divided by 10, square rooted, multiplied by base damage. <Yours
q110x280str =30800
sqrt 175.499
/10 17.5499
sqrt 4.189

1675.6 for sword
2094.5 for axe

So a difference of 418.9, But where did you get 879?
Anyways, it's still appreciable damage, and I'm not super worried about it, I'd rather have the extra water because any fight where that four hundred would be sorely missed is not a fight I'm sticking around for, and I'd be better served running like a pansy.

Neither does an axe right?

base soldier sword damage is 300 so your max damage is 1256, so all you can kill are players with no armour or really crappy armour
so yea you either got extremely lucky to fight a 500 ua noob with no armour, or more likely you made this story up

Can confirm, the guy was wearing not-so-great steel armor and also had a terrible-quality soldier sword, left behind because its destiny was to become a brick wall and it was cheated out of it by a fledgling smith.

Ibraham, whoever he was, was an absolute mystery. He was also wielding a rope, presumably to attempt to Quell the Beast on Woot or whoever else he ran into in the woods. Further, he had a quality 45 bucket in his inventory, something usually only made from a quality ~350 bone saw or with above-average trees. Other oddities about him included the fact that I couldn't find his initial scent of assault with a Perception of 216 and an Exploration of 97, despite repeat trips to try to discover it. Based on this and the fact that the mental weight of his skull was 25, I assume that he had about 450 Stealth to go with it and thus was able to evade my ridiculous abilities by virtue of the foraging system governing whether or not one can discover evidence of a crime.

Were I a gambling man, I would assume that he was out for vengeance against the village of Solitude, though I can't imagine why. My second bet would be that he was Jason Fucking Bourne.

Good day.

The soldier's sword was nerfed this world. Last time I tried to figure out base dmg i arrived at around 210. Also, the attack "Chop" (and cleave) has small armor penetration.

EDIT:

You did it out of sequence because you missed a parenthesis.

Ah, base damage 300, ringofbrogdar says both damages on the page, I didn't notice the other one Forgive my derpyness.
Still, I'm not going to sit here and argue it out with you, I didn't catch how much damage I did, But his armor was shit, even by my standards, definitely by yours
It was a hail mary swing, and I got lucky. Like I said, there was a lot of sprinting and squirreling at first, perhaps I got my numbers wrong on how much weight I took from his defense.

Also to ninijutsu I did not know chop had pen, that's interesting, and a bit frustrating, Melee has always been a bit derpy.

I'm not trying to argue, just telling you how much damage you actually do. I believe your story.
