Sorry, but this is a total ad hominem on your part, my post was not an "assault" on anyone. I was merely remarking on the fact that the game (being a permadeath MMO) does not adapt to your abilities or disabilities, if that doesn't work for you then there are other genres. Permadeath does not lend itself to blunders or mistakes, as they will be permanent, if you are for whatever reason intrinsically more prone to commit them, then you will indeed have to face the fact that you're playing on hXc mode.

No, my phrasing was adequate and most people got what I meant. Also, I'd appreciate it if you would show a little respect in the future and not misrepresent people and their opinions.

Actually I disagree there.
People understand wording differently and might require additional explanations to prove a point. Every person is different and so is their understanding. Anyway let's drop the topic. As I mentioned, I understood your point after a bit more explanation to it, but for me, the initial posts were heavily misleading.

Irregardless, the person wasn't so much crying about getting raided and being killed, it was more a thirst for revenge and to see if someone would hunt down whoever did it. That's something we can all get behind, right?

Personally, if it hadn't been Coles I would do it myself. I've already tracked scents to Lake Olympus and know I can't get to his hearthfire. I am also fairly sure I won't find him outside without a couple other people.

Anyway, whether someone has a disability or not, there's any number of things that can happen. A fire could start, or your dog could start having an accident.

Shit happens. Don't diss people for wanting blood when it happens to them. It's good having scents from murderers being available, it gives players that are unwilling to kill randomly a fun outlet to go ranging.

Thats not true! Just get a CR up. Then the worst thing that can happen in this case, is to loose your char. But thats kinda normal anyway.

What I mean is that you can't expect to people in the game world to adapt to your disabilities, so either you adapt to the fact that you're playing on hXc mode or you don't play at all. It totally sucks that people have to deal with disabilities, but if you're doing things that you know don't square with your abilities/disabilities you certainly do not have the right to complain. I don't know it just seems like common sense to me that you can't really complain if you got killed after leaving your gate open , whatever the reason.
