lower the impacts? so botters are aware of the impacts and yet they find it legit? lol
you misunderstand me, lady, I talk in function of the gamers in general.
2 situations :
1) one bunch of guys can develop clients and bots , and do it like a elite on the game, 3% of players boting, 1% can make bots own , 95% no botting because unknown the existence of bots.
2) everyone have a bot , 95% botting , 5% have the hability to make bots
tell me, in what situation the impact of bots are less critic?
i guess is 1, because the mechanic games can conserve without a lot of people with bots (the problem here is the advantage of the elite-dev groups).
actually we go to #2 situation, if something hard is implemented in the game , like "sharks" in rivers/lakes , the people who use one public bot or elite bot cant make nothing ... until some developer make public the fix, and this can take time

the bots not dissapear, is the nature of software .. u cant stop it..
sincerely i wish open/make public my client and my bots, and destroy little bit the advantage between the "elite" factions and new players, hermits, etc but i guess that can destroy the game mechanics more than it currently is, i use bots, i make bots, and meanwhile loftar dont say if is illegal, i continue playing/making with that, btw i not deploy my bots for foraging pearls, curios, and think in my own ego "that I am very powerful"... i have my own reasons for play with bots, basically because i love see how work without humans involved

i hope my broke english clean the panorama of my words.
toseiuzure :
i can give you my own forager bot m8
jk i dont give a shit to nobody...
