If the 1 moves in the opposite direction from the 4, they can't opp knock him, and the 1 usually has backup. Being the minority gives him the excuse of running which also lets him set up an ambush with his friends, so it's not always a bright idea to chase.

Three guys didn't even have a full bucket of water with them, let alone they were all forage alts except for battleslayer who was a crafter. I said before anything happened when they were all asking for water half way through the ram that if anyone came I would be getting out of there. The Meg8's usually have atleast one person they can call on when they are tracking so I am surprised it was only cayur there.

Didn't say always but usually a back up plan somewhere. A valuable lesson was learned today I hope. Make sure the people you go with know to bring at least empty buckets to fill up somewhere.

why would you put enough str to ram at a decent speed on a forage alt? and really people have 500ua on crafters?

I know 3 people who put UA on crafters. One of them had about 600 UA, the other 2 had around 300 at time of death... And yeah, all 3 died. Don't put UA on crafters or go outside of your brickwall on them.

Because you don't know how many people are in the skype channel of the threat, and if you're not in a combat-based faction and trust people by you for their warfare skills, it's safer to spread and flee?

That was a bad hit though, that looked like some good loot to be on a random hearthling outside brick walls with no weapons.
