Because it's just rude not to, whether you give a '****' about the person or not. If someone is interested enough to ask you questions the least you could do is just reply cordially.

These threads are concerning the action that takes place within the game which is why other people read them and 'care' - (show an interest) - I always read them and sometimes I get confused and want to ask questions too, most times someone is kind enough to respond but occasionally I just get some rude or sarcastic comment also, which then makes you think twice before asking in future.

As these threads are here for you to tell 'everyone' what has happened, as well as to brag to each other, lol, and involve known figures from the community, due to the nature of the threads, you should therefore expect uninvolved people to ask questions and not respond badly when you are asked. It's just common courtesy.

He meant it was an agreed 1v1 which it wasnt and therefore since three of us showed up it was a gank, imo a 3v1 is my dreamfight atm since all the fights is just clusterfux right now.

What he's trying to say is, the person piloting Ursus thought it was an agreed 1v1, they thought he just waited outside for death or whatever, 3 of them ported out to kill him (hence the gank).

I feel like I need to respond to this.

I showed up outside of their vault at around 5am my time as I'd noticed that whenever they attacked us, it was around this time.
I went alone and I did manage to find someone inside named Svarog.

I agroed him and asked if he was AD/killing my villagers and he said yes.
Not just yes, actually.
The actual quote was, "YEEEEEEESSSSSS"

So I told him to come out and fight.
He kept going to the walls and since he only had tsacks on, I let him test a hit so that I could also test one.

I val'd him to 60ish and he punched me to around 40, so it was very clear that I was outstatted badly.
He then put on a b12 afterwards and tried to get me to go to walls again where I told him that I would likely go straight down with a val strike standing, so he would have to come out to pay for his crimes.

About 30 minutes goes by and Cayur + Troll had then joined me nearby.
Svarog did ask "1v1?" at one point while he was trying to bait me to his wall, but I did not respond to it, or agree to it.
I went out of render and waited in the forest.

Eventually, Ursus the "alt" came out and we called coins on the river for a while.
I jumped from my boat and he immediately bashed mine and left his.

We ran inland a bit and by then Cayur and Troll were near enough to jump onto the island we were on.

This is where the "gank in a 1v1" comes in.
Cayur did not get out of his boat until Ursus was down, instead he grabbed Ursus's boat so that he would not just run back inside his vault to the north.

Troll and I attacked him from either side and I landed the first hit which was a movement val strike and Troll finished him with another val (which I also believe was in movement) seconds later.

You knew that you had over double my ua and mc, you knew I was unable to do damage, and I never agreed to a 1v1.


If you knew that you were going to cry over the loss of your alternate character, then maybe you should not have come outside to meet your maker.
