Ok, since I initiated all this, here is the story.

I left the password with my chieftain of my town from world 6. Our town had only about 2-5 active players left at that time. Since my character was a well developed character and my account had a gatekeeper on the character list, i was letting them use it. There was an understanding to change password as needed but leave the email address alone. (i'm giving them the key and permission to change the locks, but not to take me off the lease).

I logged into that account somewhere around may 24ish and saw it was still being actively used by them.

I get a call from a former town member telling the world is gonna be reset in a few hours. She links me the current ender client download. She also states the world is being reset because alot of accounts were hacks.

Well, day of map reset arrives. I attempt to log on my account to play in the lovely new world 7. and password denied. no problem, they probably changed it so the former townmembers cant use it. So i request a password reset via e-mail. It never comes. A few hours later i attempt again. Still no email from H&H.

So now i'm thinking my account was one of those hacked, because my trusted villagers would not do the ONLY thing told not to do on the account. After all, i know these guys in real life. I've cooked em steaks and we sat around and wasted time playing rpg's like Vampire the masquerade and werewolf.

So i send Jorb a PM via the forums, stating my account was not sending me a password reset email and what my e-mail SHOULD be set as.

Minion, whom was a villager a from W6 and a real life friend Finally logs on, as i'm bitching at him did he change my email on my primary account, our lovely white haired merchant robes wizard hatted friend appears and 1 shots minion's character for a BIZILLION points of damage.

And thus this thread came to life. After the fact, people tell me that they were forced by the server to change email and passwords for the safety of the account.

Minion was singled out by Jorb because his accounts email address is the same as what my accounts email was changed to.

My apologies to Jorb and/or Minion about any misunderstanding or damage to reputation this might have cause.
