Read Before Posting

Read the stickies, read the wiki, read the titles of threads in the first page or two of the subforum to see if there is already an answer to your question, or if your idea has already been suggested
Don't forget about the search function! Threads that ask a question that has been answered in the wiki or another recent thread, or threads with commonly suggested ideas like "add bridges" will be moderated.

2. Title Your Threads Properly

Condense the main idea of your post into one phrase or sentence and use that for the title. Poorly named threads will be moderated.

3. Server Issues

All posts regarding server issues (such as lag or downtime) should be posted in this thread.

4. Inappropriate Content

No excessive swearing, posting malicious links or disturbing images. That includes NSFW images.
Don't be a blatantly stupid/unfunny troll, derail otherwise interesting threads with your trolling, or troll/stir up drama on the forums with an alt.
Don't accuse others of being trolls when they are simply disagreeing with you.
No hotlinking allowed - use a proper image host.
Hate speech is considered trolling.

5. Spam

Please refrain from offtopic chatting in important threads like the server status thread.
Put some effort into your posting! We would like to see some actual discussion not empty "+1" posts like this or much worse like that
The forum is not your blog! Threads not even remotely related to the game may be moderated!
Don't go advertise your trades in every Apples for Oranges topic, or advertise your village in every Dwarves & Thieves topic.
Stop requesting character wipes or map resets. They will only ever be introduced alongside major developments and there are no signs of those developments happening anytime soon. You have no say in the matter.
Please avoid making grab bag threads with multiple unrelated suggestions. Give each idea its own thread so posters can discuss its merits, so that ideas aren't overshadowed by more popular ideas, and so that they might be found later using the search tool.

6. Sass

Any concerns regarding a moderated post or thread should be taken to the moderation discussion. Do not derail threads with posts discussing moderator actions.
Do not abuse the report function

or troll/stir up drama on the forums with an alt.
This is completely different, there's no rule against posting with alts, as long as your not trolling. All i did was point out the location of some clay.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

That is not true at all, your the one who made it a drama thread with your horrendous abuse of moderator privileges.

You are aware of the fact that the mods are not exactly best friends, yeah? There have been times where at least Sab, Jackard and I hated eachothers guts and we are usually just one questionable comment away from starting that up again.

I am entertained by you because of the way you blow this out of proportion is ridiculous. I haven't even read the OP so far to be honest. Hint though: Being responsible for sending a person to prison is in fact not a good comparison to the actions of a mod on a computer game forum.

The reference went over your head, it's not about the severity, it's about privacy. When someone leaves an anonymous tip, they expect it to remain that way. If you were a police informant and the cop gave all your information to the criminal you're informing on, wouldn't you be a little pissed off? and yes it does affect me, because now more people want to kill me.

I'm usually against mods and their decisions most of the time, but you had this coming since you tried to undermine another man's efforts and fuck up his clayspot just because you didn't find it first.

But the truly funny part is your reaction to it.
