You don't even need Rage to KO someone in self-defense btw, you don't leave scents if he aggro'd you.


People leave scents for various reasons, their intent is not always to do harm to another player or their village. Maybe some guy is clearing all the random hfs outside his walls. My point is that it's not a good fix, it leaves too much to chance and paves the way for different forms of abuse/exploitation or just more poor mechanics.

I agree with you that it's a shit mechanic to add, but leaving scents accidentally? If you know such mechanic exists and your HF is outside, you'd claim the HFs before clearing them, or you'd clear them after your own HF is safe.

You can then say that summoning is a bad mechanic, cus if someone summon you after clearing area from random hfs it is unfair.

cmon, guys, you can easily make an alt with a small claim to bash them without leaving scents...
and what did devs implement the last update to prevent alt spamming for?

I surely don't want to: Waste materials for p-claim every time I see a HF I want to destroy, waste 1 HHP, and leave random vandal scents everywhere... What don't you understand? Destroying unclaimed HFs leaving scents = bad. Losing health while doing it = also bad.

it should be somewhat costly (bleh, not much anyways) when a new player has just innocently spawned at the wrong place. you should pay some price for it.
you are only thinking about when people spam alts.

hf belongs to the char who spawned there.
