I find it rather funny, to hear all these people say " I use this bot, but not that bot!" or "My friends and allies use this bot, but we don't because we trade for all our stuff."

The main point for more and more usage of bots are just too many boring repetive tasks - where it's like with every thing: some people just pervert it... (and i don't talk about those that have interest in experimenting wit "AI" like having a village completly ran by bots )

I would say <5% use bots... maybe 25% use scripts. No one in my village uses bots or scripts and im pretty sure most people on my friends list dont either.

I think you guys forget that the majority of the server population is Hermits.... big villages probably only make up 10% of the players.

Most of these Hermits use Ender or even the Default client.... if you talked to them instead of killing them most dont even know that alternate clients exist.


I do think bots and scripts are ruining the game... I think an official client should be released and all others banned... i saw a video of someone pking using one of the more advanced clients (it wasn't enders) and it basically did the chasing/fighting for them... whats the point if your not even fighting against another person on the other end...

I think when this world ends if loftar have not addressed the scripts/botting there will be no reason to play next world. I hope they are working on something.
