Creating a geographical focal point will be what allows for the projects in the area, to create upon themselves, compounded importance and value.
Nesting the projects that make sense to be put together would allow a complete hub to not just something like trading, but to all other extensions of the community.
In an example, you might spend 99% of your travel fatigue at a crossroad to get to the transit hub, then from there, you may take as little as 10% travel fatigue to reach the Beer Garden & Ox Cart Race Track. Return to the transit hub, and take another 10% Travel fatigue to reach the Hearthlands arena. From there, take a brief stroll to the Xcom's Blood Maze entrance. Return to your Hearthfire to save yourself from being lost, then return back to the transit hub, smack down between all the community projects at another 99% travel fatigue. Welcome to Eemerald's Grand Central Terminal.
You won't need to make the activities at the center of the world, you'll just need to make the world center in on the activities.
yes that was the plan to try to do it all within a close distance. trade town was meant to have a minehole leading to the spar arena, the beer garden was going to be close to the sparring place, etc.
Feast area currently is near EC simply because it was initially going to be created just for EC people, but we decided to set separate idol and open it to others. and i'd rather not concentrate all community projects down that way. But we will try to locate a relatively empty part of the world to do projects in...it's just finding enough empty space to do so
