jamestown is the "carebear server" because i killed approximately 40 thieves/raiders within the first 5 weeks or so of the server launching, which is why roanoke got an extra influx of them.

yes, smacked down by crap game performance/bugs.

You forgot to mention the small detail about how you and other people spent your(pluralis) money to get a headstart over non-paying players.

How things went for you in Plymouth is more accurate description of your "skill" :).

why would he need to mention it when it is available to everyone who are willing to pay?

Because H&H does not have that option. It means that whatever money you are spending is not a factor in H&H, while it was very much so in Jamestown. It is huge mechanical difference.

I think what Tonky means is that they will, if they even try Salem, know that it's pay to head start.
It's like telling someone there's people on Facebook.
If he makes an account he will find out by himself anyway.

Ah, yeah, I assumed that many H&H people do not know what impact paying money during early world had in Salem, so that's why I brought it up.

yeah buying enough silver to secure exactly one vendor stand (which ended up being a waste of money because stands were available for over a week, which i could have easily gotten enough silver for by then) along with a dozen other folks was an astronomical advantage

you do bring up an interesting point however, in spite of salem being the better game by far many people in second world eastern european countries (like russia, ukraine etc which seems to make up 35 - 40% of both games populations) will not play salem due to being unable to afford cash shop items and the percieved advantage they give no matter how inconsequential said purchases really are.
