thats just nonsence. brodgar was (and maybe is) full of totall noobs. thats why they keep gate open with key in chest near it... :|Same reason why they leave scents, they just think noone will come coz they do it for first time.

Or you name people that happy of 40q boards as "people who know how to play"?

Anyone who know how to play would find spot in middle of nowhere far from rivers and settle ther if they feel weak and wana live somewhat peace.

i've seen noobs progress, it's awesome

i've seen brodgar progress... at a snail's
pace... Brodgar's home of the weak, and
they're prey to anyone who wishes to do
anything to them. If they don't change
they will always be the crippled death trap
we know and love

Ur manner of speaing makes u look very silly when u speak such nonsence. there are different kind of players even kids should understand it, isnt it obvious? many ppl in hnh are very young or dont have much time but still wana play hnh, other are older and more organised and progress much faster.

Now what do you call weak? How the hell hermit can be not weak to fraction? Thats just idiotic coz u are locked in stronghold with best players in hnh (and boters as i assume) and you call legit players from brodgar that are not organised in any way weak? Thats like dad sittin with his 50 years old bussines colleagues calling his own 12years old son weak while he learns to ride bicycle on his own. Lol man why not kill own son? hes weak.

What i think is - people have guts to try to live in brodgar and you are weak to doing shit to them. Coz that all u can. Thats all u play for? To bot and raid helpless? No? fight other fraction or protect Brodgar. But u wont do it coz it requires organisation, time and guts + messing with strong guys. Thats not as easy as killing newb with 700UC and 5 people gang squad.

Im not against raiding brodgar, its part of game but you could not use bags like bear bash and dont kill entirely noobs. Like OMG AWESOME FUN SOME NEWB IN LINEN CLOTH COME CLOSE TO ME I PUNCHED HIM FOR 9999999999DMG FROM FIRST BLOW THEN TOOK HIS PANTS AND 10q WHEAT LELELELE.

People could just KO newbs take ther valuable stuff if there is any, why such rage why u need to bash newbs idol with bag why u need to kill newbs that plays for few weeks. I hope thats not only fun in your life but it looks so coz usually advanced players seek some challenge.

And then some of us play all three sides of the coin. Can we end with the stereotypes now? Living in the middle of nowhere is no more protection than being in a village. You're just more than likely to get vengeance without a lot of effort if your in a village. (You're also more likely to get ganked because there are actual active enemies of the state.)

Yeah, there's a lot of noobs in brodgar, but there's some vets there, too. I can't speak for the other vets, but I don't put all my eggs in one basket in this game.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

No idea what u wana say but only "veteran" living in Brodgar was Snacky. Coz he was tough. Anyone else? I dont think that ur veteran or tough coz when someone will come to raid brodgar what u will do? nothing, same with me. Any else "veterans" in brodgar? We are fairly just semi-noob players and we just cant get tough without organisation what is very hard in Brodgar. So we are generally helpless hermits.

And even if there were few tough ppl in brodgar how that would change that killin ppl in linin cloth or bug bashing idol is just not cool.

lame

i really think there needs to be some honorable* agreement not to use the animal bug unless they do it to you first, its total bullshit

*probably not possible or even comprehensible to certain players

Even so, I still don't see a reason why devs don't fix it. Its obvious that they know the problem, since they did partial fix already. Probably some amount of drama needs to happen for it to see a fix.

you just arent listening, ramones. loftar repeatedly said in irc that he doesnt know how to fix it because he cannot find the cause of it.
also, he said that he would rather work on re-coding, instead of looking at the old codes he is going to throw away sooner or later.

@haelmut
well, i didnt know snackish was a vet, but yolan is surely one of the oldest vets, isnt mvgulik too? sab and vigilance too are vets and they were in brodgar last world. i dont know who else in there or who are still there this world, but i also heard many vets are there, even though that shouldnt be the sole reason for "bad boys" to raid it. iirc, naowhut actually fought for brodgar last world with vigi. this world, im assuming its crf who wants to raid it mainly and gathering ainran and lo while they cant do much to ad but damage inactives. lets see what happens when russian dis join in this mess.

btw, once you learn what this game is about, playing a noob (or pretending) is another fun especially after going hardcore for a while. so i dont find it too special that some vets want to be a part of brodgar.

under "veteran" i was mening someone who ar tough enough to stay in game after death, make hq things, get rich, or fight back. i just wana say that killing totall newbs, ther crafter\farmers, locking ther gates wit a key u found in chest near gate, doing shit like palisading ther gater coz they forgot to seal corner, bashin idol with a bug and such things are just idiotic coz newbs just leave game, its just violence with no excuse except only being unmanner idiot.

once in world start Brodgar had a raid from ~3 ppl, all newbs had gates open sure but they killed only those who did any offence against them and took only most valuable things from newbs plots leaving ther food and curios. those who did no offence was just koed and robbed. it would be cool if everyone would raid like that. newbs are not your enemyes they did nothing to you all why u need to bash all ther stuff and close them on ther plots or snipe them...
