1. I guess Brodgar is not about figting Ainrun i dont even dream about it be possible to kill Ainran raiders in group fights. Its all about turtle up. Rbow archers are just superluxurious semi-useless fun idea.

2. a) Ram will require to repear and left in inner ring where it will be spoted by active players from inner ring. b) If absolutely paranoic there can be 25 tiles from inner ring bwall to first plots from free zone. + If immigrants will build oter bwall it will become super annoying to get to Keep.

Ainran is what raided Brodgar initially. There's absolutely no way for a town like Brodgar to defend themself at all. If Ainran gets super bored and camps a ram for 8 hours (which is an average of the playing time in strong groups) you can't do anything about it.

Wasnt bugram fixed? And if they do so noone cant do anything then. Thats not reason to stop playing.

Even if someone do it, EVERYONE will know that its happenting coz it will take shitload of time. And in general theres just nothing can be done to town like Brodgar if it will have something like inner ring of diehard players.

If everyone will know that raid is going on everyone will just hide and store everything valuable on alts. They will waste alot of time to guard ram and if in end they will get even to keep what they will do? Bash fasilities and... thats all.. its rebuildable in short time.

Or sure they can waste months guarding ram being online to get to every plot. ¦] By the time they will raid one plots othres that have brickwall will be restored again if they have active owner.

I never want to camp a ram again, not happening, especially for random noob shit in brodgar.

This is what is supposed to protect brodgar: the lack of anything useful. BWall and not having anything around means raiders give up fast.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I have lived in brodgar before and played
the role of a noob. People offer their help
to you and are very friendly, everything is
peaceful... but very few there have no idea
what they're doing. I met many... many
alts of people who have been playing for
a long time, but i never met a player that
did not know what they were doing.

Many invited me to play in their groups and
offered to help by giving me things... but
most everyone i met knew how to play the
game, they just didn't have any motivation
to become strong.

Brodgar is a place for the weak to hide among
those that are trapped inside the mindset of
Brodgar. The community is nice and it's fun to
hang out with them, but no, noobs will not be
turned away from this game because your idol
is gone. Your village is not a safe haven for
starting players. Your village is a death trap
that makes noobs think others are friendly and
it's safe to walk right up to an armed stranger.
Your villagers leave scents everywhere and are
surprised when they die.

I disagree. I met quite a few people there that were completely new to the game. Moreover, many things aren't obvious, so learning the game takes a long time. I'd say half a year to master(or even more, depends on the approach). Others were noobs in a way that they never had a pearl necklace or a dragon helm, never raided in group etc. Although I do agree that noobs become too fearless in Brodgar, which is pretty harmful for their further playing.

Funny thing is that the devs claimed they fixed the bug two times(!) this world, but the bug it still there :)
Either deal with it or find another game.
Basically, I guess the fact of bear-bashing of the idol in Brodgar might come in useful as Brodgar seems to be the only place in game that the devs ever cared of...

But for gods sake some child starts to play in Brodgar and do its tiny bussines like farming 20 tiles of wheat why every raider need to kill him bash all stuff lock plot and think hes cool coz he did that?

U can just KO newb, take his most valuable stuff, say him that hes newb, dont bash his cupboards with miscelanious lowq stuff. U still win, u still cool but newb dont feel himself like absolute 0 after that and continue to play. Everyone pleased...

AGAIN, it's not to feel cool, people think raiding and killing noobs is fun. If they think it's fun, why shouldn't they do it? Because the noob will feel bad? Again, the game won't change for the noob.
Tonkyhonk, that's one way to look at it...

lol
Apparently they do it because of reactions such as haelmut's shitposting. ¦] I find such nagging quite annoying, though. Maybe that's the reason why I'm not a raider.

haelmut wrote:Fun is fighting skilled opponent and geting over him, fun is chaising some player that know how to run and survive, fun is planning things producting it and creating projects, fun is group fights, fun is raiding stronk village with nice loot. etc

In a game with permadeath, like in real life, there is no reason for fighting on even stats(including actual skill of fighting). Sad for some people but true.
