Oh dear,

There is nothing anyone can do as I said earlier, I really don't expect anyone to. I had no idea when this started who I was up against, I'm fully aware that I'm in a no-win situation but tbh, I have nothing to lose. They had already destroyed everything I own.

Maybe if they had tried to talk to me and left me some incentive to move this ridiculous stand-off wouldn't be happening, idk, maybe it would - we'll never know, I think if I'd still had my stuff and known it was AD, I would have tried to reason with them and I may have made a thread moaning about it but I probably would have gone.

Point is I have nothing to lose - I probably won't even have an idol by the end of tonight!

I appreciate you trying to help me more than I can say but the last thing I want is my friends losing chars and fighting amongst themselves over it.

You can help me in other ways, when it's all over, but I want you to just leave it now. Pain has already lost a char, two of you are fighting and I jsut feel bad that i've dragged you all into it.

I call bullshit, you are not really sorry. It is just an excuse you use to justify your choices. A methodology you use to be able to look yourself in the mirror without feeling disgust.

You knew the risks with involving your "friends"; you could have planned things to minimize the risk, but nooo that would be too hard work and too inconvenient for you, right? It is better to choose to be blissfully ignorant and then later on say "I'm sooo sorry" if things go wrong. The worst part is that you probably even believe that you are sorry lol.

This is why I've been quiet in the forums and will do so again. Childish bull.

Anyways it's not the same thing. I was going against paying a fee to live and play. I was raided, but did not stand my ground and instead joined others. I was killed later at their place.

Amanda was raided because of territory conflicts. She is standing her ground and refusing to be bullied away from the place she made. She may or may not die by the hands of these bullies.

Okay, I can see the similarities. We were both bullied and stood up to the bullies. Hopefully she will not lose her toon to her bully the way I ultimately lost mine.

naosnule, I'm not going to say your "wrong" on your train of thought, but really, the complexities of politics often have unforeseen consequences, especially when lies and gruff attitudes start getting tossed in. There's a reason why political analysts have such grand degrees and C.V.s. It's the same reason why not just anyone can work in the spy business. Being able to see all the cards before they're played is a talent that can be taught, but one that comes easier to some than others, just like learning complex math. To say Amanda isn't sorry for the fallout of her requests is just bullshit.

Amanda: Good luck to you. I know you can get out of the situation, even if it means eventually giving up your location, and I know you're not a quitter, even if you do end up dead over it.

I really hate the two sided politics in this game that creates these problems (problems of asking all your friends for something and they can't or won't do it for whatever reason). With the two sided politics, everyone has to pick a side or get ran over in the middle ground or get lucky and find a cubbyhole in the outskirts.

Well, I'm still there and still trying to work out conditions for me being 'allowed' to stay, I am still alive and have rebuilt the pali, a kiln, and a smelter. It's pretty hard going as they do indeed have people watching and as I have no supplies I have to keep leaving the base to gather wood and forage/catch food.

I have had so many pms from ppl offering food, curio's and supplies to rebuild that it has been amazing, I am so touched and sort of feel like i'm making a stand for many more than just myself - however, after what has happened I can't allow anyone else to get involved - I know the chars that port stuff over will only be alts and not important to you but i'm really trying hard not to back RIP deeper into any corners or annoy them further. I'm still hopeful that a peaceful solution can be reached if I jsut back off a bit and show that i'm really not a threat or a problem.

I've said that I will keep off the rivers - which is honestly no hardship as I really wasn't on them in the first place, I've been far too busy building the mansion and idol. I had to leave the island a few times as I have no heath and needed chickens, milk and wool - but I don't even have to do that anymore as there is enough grassland around my base now that they spawn there.

Anyway, thats whats going on atm - thanks to everyone supporting me and fingers-crossed.

Lol I'm always here, just not really posting. Thanks for the offer, but my husband and I have a nice little village that has, so far, been left alone. Probably because we are so much slower than most of you and have nothing of real value.

@Amanda, don't worry, I've seen much worse. Most of the time (not all), I don't pay too much attention to it. Good luck.
