How to deal with it?

Postby LuKo » Fri Jul 26, 2013 12:54 pm

Well.. I'm kinda new to this game, and I could just finish walling my land piece (I know that is'nt still safe.. but well...)

The problem is that I didn't knew fully how to do that kind of thing.. I probably forgot to seal it in the end, and now I discover that theres ppl that DEDICATE ITS TIME JUST TO DO THAT.

Yea, I'l trapped... More experienced players will find it funny, laugh, and get out...I know. (maybe I deserve)
Now, instead of keeping playing, and focusing on building more stuff and exploring, I'll probably have to focus myself in making a battering ram (I don't even know how the heck I'll get the bones...)

Well... theres a better option for me, dealing with that? I guess I need help >.>

Break your hearthfire if you have enough strength (use a stone axe or better a pickaxe to lower the strength requirement). Take some of your most precious posessions and log out. When you log back in you should get the option to spawn in the wilderness or log back in where you left last time. Spawning in the wilderness will allow you to set up a new place. You could also spawn repeatedly until you are close to your old place and then try to get that back with a ram somehow.

A thread like this comes up every few weeks or so.

That would be neat, since I just want to get out xD
The problem is... I didn't focused on strenght... I got only 20, I can break that hearth crap, and also I probably can't make a battering ram (a least not on this year), since enough bones just for one glue, and i can only get more from a chicken crop >.>

I'm that screwed because a "mommy son" ? xD

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Strength#Strength

There are a couple of ways to get more strength as described on that wiki entry. To break your hearthfire with a stone axe you will need 25 points of strength. With a pickaxe you only need 16. Breaking the hearthfire will also be pretty slow.

Also, you could just sit it out with your chicken coop until you have enough bones. May take quite a while though with just one coop. But even then you need to have a certain amount of strength to be able to use the ram. For that purpose you can also run several clients with alternate characters that you attach to the ram for more strength.

If you know your coordinates on the map, you can hire a palibasher for you (person that can break palisades with hand/sledgehammer).
Hope you have a great day

With one chicken crop, I'll be out like... next year xD
The Battering plan seems to be a fail too (got no strength) >.>

And I'm new... I got no badass alts...

Thanks to you...I at least got some fast way to get the strenght I lack... I may go full barbarism to get the 30% bonus ç.ç I got 20, so that would end on 26 probably...

I'll not wait for help.. on this game, he evil side rules, lol xD

As you can see... I probably don't have anything that could pay for it... and I still could't find my place on that giantic map xD
