dying when serve shuts down

It doesn't seem right for someone char to die due to server re-start. A friend was agroed to a bear and died when server shut down

How? From what I understand when the server shuts off the animals despawn and everyone is logged out of the game

Maybe your friend died before restart and is crying for a resurrection

Technically he wouldn't die because if the server was shutting down then the map would be unloaded and his character (and the bear) logged out.

Nice try trying to blame his (your) death on a server restart though.

It was actually a bug salmon.
It swam upstream 2 fast.
