He KO'd me in one hit, hit me for maybe 270 SHP and and 100 HHP. I had about 110 UA, he might have caught me moving though I don't know, it was kind of a clusterfuck. I just have more important stuff I should probably be doing anyway. I was not being careful with my main, his death could've totally been avoided if I had bothered to take precautions, but in a way him dying means that I can focus more on school now.

Haven sucks up a lot of your time and in addition once you lose one of your precious characters it becomes a tedious task to get the stats back, especially if you don't have a half-decent forager alt or supporting friends.
I personally would get back into Haven if I had more time or at least if I found a group with which it would be fun to play, because otherwise HnH becomes game about numbers and bots.

It isn't permadeath = get banned.
I died countless times but never quit.
And what you said isn't true, some morons are peaceful too. Heck, many smart people kill as well.
It doesn't really suck, since there's no real goal in this game, when you die you're as far from finishing the game as you were before you died.
Anyway think of it like this: You don't get your stats 'back up' when you die. You just get your stats up.
