and whats the point of buying q60 steel bars and craft lower quality tools when those of you with nice q tools could easily craft q100+ steel bars to make even better stuff?

Making steel take time and is annoying . Buying lower q steel and reselling it into b12 or sharp tool's is easy profit.

Profit gets easier if you aren't overpaying for materials, you know. The point is q60 steel = q10-50 wood and low-ish q smelters these days, so the process (mats) of getting it is the same as for q10. It can not be used to craft anything worthy without high quality tools, so why should you pay more to the supplier? Rational thing to do is to buy it cheap and make your final product cheaper, not the other way around.

q60 steel bar - i'd say 40 pts

ash111:
You wont see many people offering you q150 axe, since you cannot make that high (or only few can, and none selling atm)
You might get some q145+ for 50 pts (that is what i would value it)

As for saws, everything up to q300 should be quite cheap, about 50, maybe 100 pts, it all depends on the seller.
