Alright, I edited a previous post but considering recent events I want people to know what has happened recently to make up their own minds about this.

I contacted babmek about a pair of gauntlets and got the points ready, tried for 3 days to get him to sell them to me and he never found the time. That is fine, but I had an issue with the fact that I am logged into the game and skype nearly constantly and he never found time to sell them to me but found time to sell them to somebody else. Free market, can sell to whomever he wants, I know. Wasn't too happy about the fact that he told me a value and I gathered it up and prepared to port and just waited for nothing to happen. Obviously others should see these things if a trader is going to waste somebody's time and to not even bother, so I posted the situation here in the thread. He then contacted me in Skype and asked me to delete my post and offered a lower quality soldier gauntlet for free. I didn't want them for free, so I was just done with it. His efforts in offering were enough to make me take a man-midol and change the post cause it could have been a simple misunderstanding that I blew up about. He contacted me a day or two later. I didn't contact him again, he sent me a Skype message asking if I wanted to come get the lower quality gauntlets for free. Screw it. I didn't let him give them to me for free though, I didn't want free shit and can support myself. I wanted a fair trade and consideration when I approach somebody about an item for sale on their trade thread.

I went ahead and ported my trader over to him with some curios for the gauntlets. Maybe not as much as they could have been worth but didn't know the value of q101 gauntlets anyway, but it was something at least - maybe 60 or 80 points or around there, I just grabbed stuff.

At any rate, the trade went smoothly and I left with the gauntlets but the negativity surrounding the trade inspired me to hide the gauntlets in a cupboard in one of my old villages in case they were scented.

One day after the trade my old mine - the place where the gauntlets were sitting - has a new, fresh mine hole and my village idol and crossroad post to the outer mine were gone, as well as 4 large chests. Granted, still have the gauntlets cause they were inside a brickwall under my old plot.

Now, in complete FAIRNESS, this could all be a huge coincidence. Possibility is very unlikely though, since he offered me the q101 gauntlets early Tuesday, over 72 hours from the time he let me know he had them in his possession until the last time I had seen the old idol and crossroad in tact. He had them in his possession from at minimum the time he offered them to me until 2 days and 3 hours later, and I doubt he messaged me immediately after he obtained them. Considering a theft scent only lasts 2 days and 16 hours, real-time. I personally find it hard to believe that the scent came off of the body they were originally taken off of and they used super low quality scents to find where they were. COULD have also been completely random and have nothing to do with this guy, but take with this post what you would like and decide appropriately.

That's not a coincidence. Exact same thing happened to me. Bought a CTC from him and got raided the same day. They mined-in to my mine where the char wearing the CTC was standing. Then tracked the same char next day and attacked him outside of the base.
