i had a guy pm me and want to trade me a quality 70+ pickaxe for steel. i said ok but when he explained the whole trade thing, he said he will come to my idol and take my steel and then he will teleport back to his hearth and bring me the pickaxe. did that sound like a scam to anyone who reads this? it does to me because cant we just do trades in the same place? i read on the how to that you have to destroy your hearth before you do trade anything with an alt.

you'd better go with a known trader like ramones or flapster (guess he's doing trades that way atm for safety reasons)

I got a 70q pick from Flapster today for a bear and a bluebell. He ported to me and it went perfectly smoothly.
