I didn't suggest it as a joke.

He was about to give it for free when the other player decided he wouldn't do it. Instead of throwing it in the river, he decided to sell it. I don't see what the problem is in doing that against assholes who set up a trap to kill two innocent players.

If any of you want the thing for free I'm sure he'll give it.
