Is the north truly that bad? I believe I'm there, north-west even, which is said to be the worse zone, and I have yet to meet a problem. Of course my habit of rushing a Palisade and a Claim before anything, while keeping a low profile and mostly doing a inland foraging may be helping me. (And probably, since I posted this, my bad luck will bring ten raiders to the doors of my small homestead )

I'm actually in the north-west too, even further than I used to be because someone kept destroying my objects when I started out. I haven't had any problems yet since I moved.

I witnessed a little settlement be raided earlier.
I was lucky enough not to be spotted, or maybe they just ignored me, I dunno.
The owners fought hard, but, the raiders outnumbered the poor souls.
I wish I could've done something to help them.
