I'm still confused on how this system works. Since when are there vassals? Why are it's vassals going around doing their own shit? Have you actually implemented a system of crown authority in the Edelreich? What is the level of crown authority? Does it even have crown authority? What are the levels of taxation among vassals? What are the different levels of vassals? Do vassals have to provide levies if the levies must be raised?

These are questions that keep me up at night

It was never actually hammered out though, people just started becoming vassals with no form of taxation and, because I'm too lazy to explain, "other political stuff" put in place for vassals. I doubt anyone here but you and *maybe* me even know what scutage is.

As I once said, this thing is overthought and underthought; it's too complex for this kind of game, and at the same time you leave out key points for the level of complexity you're aiming for.

Sigh - what none of you are doing is thinking far enough ahead or asking yourselves the right questions - lets just jump straight ahead to the end result, the big picture - what game are you playing? And more importantly, whose game are you playing?

There is a reason no-one of any prominence in the game is interested, lol, as Em pointed out - what do they get out of it? And that's the lovely Em, what on earth do you think the factions get out of it? - Rule by jcm (Vaku) - hmmm, what a fun game!

Anyway, I'll back off and leave you to it, it would seem I've just received my karma from the last time ......... neighbours ........ ........

UPDATE ON FORT HARKSTONE:

I officially own the Edelreich, the power was bestowed upon me by jcm himself.
Fort Harkstone might become the bustling center of the Edelreich.
We officially have our own village idol up now.
In our next-to-do list we are now trying to find a copper/cast-iron mine hole and be on the road to steel.
Current villagers are Bondle, Gamecrazy1, and Attas. We are still recruiting for more people.
