Why do you want to join Emerald city: I would like to join a safe community so i could have people to play with and not worry about being backstabbed (it happened alot in Brodgar).

I really appreciate the number of people who have applied, it's great to see such interest, and I have already taken some on in my town and those who maybe didn't quite fit have joined the newer town which was set up called Malachite City.

I would really like to ask people applying to read the rules, because they are important in how I choose people for the town. I realise people like to prove themselves, and I'm fine with that if there's information to back up the things you say, but a new account, low post count, never played in a town before, on a newish character etc etc. doesn't fill me with much confidence, all it says is that 1. you're too new for the town, 2. a spy, 3. someone who is a raider/griefer trying to get into a town.

So please do read the opening page, it gives the information of what I am looking for, because I know what will work for my town.

Damn...
This makes me really sad, i wanted this so much, i can't play alone anymore... (no pun intended)
Also, how can i prove i'm trustworthy?

Its not just a matter of being trustworthy. Emerald City is a very developed town, and from previous experience recruiting new players, the majority do not stick around because the stage of the game they are in is nowhere close to the majority of members in EC and players feel like their presence isn't worthwhile, they can't contribute with the main jobs, they get bored doing the same boring stuff, and myself and others in the town, do not always have the biggest amount of time to support new players inside EC.

New players need to play and learn on their own or with people who are on a similar learning experience they are on. I've been in that position, and it wasn't until I hermitted, died a few times, set up my own things, then my own town and learning from that, to get to this stage.

If u need support, i'm fine with providing it, but in terms of giving someone new to the game a home in EC that's not likely i'm afraid.

The thing is, i'm not new to the game, i'm just looking for an active community since Brodgar is dangerous and it's almost dead now, i can take care of the rest.
I don't wanna sound like a whiny child (which it's what's starting to happen) but i can't start playing again because if i join a village later i'll have to make a new character, but i can't make a new character because i don't have a town to live in.

Sorry if i'm being really annoying but this is the only way for me to play again, and i really wanna play it, but not alone.
