New to the area

Postby witeout187 » Wed Jul 24, 2013 4:59 pm

Hi everyone,
I am new to HnH. I have been doing a lot of research so I know that joining a village is not that easy for a noob. But if anyone is interested in giving me a shot I would appreciate it.

If you play alone for a week or two, and have a current character who can destroy his HF it will be much easier

I say it's not. It's a very slow way.
If you got some people around you how are able to explain you everything you are WAY faster. You also get you hands on silk/metal/seeds way faster!

true, but my point of view came from the fact you only do one job. Hermits do everything at once. Maybe a hermit village would suit for new players :)
Hope you have a great day

I don't mind hermiting and possible trading with villiages but from what I read this game is aggressive and the only way to survive griefing is with a villiage

I lived as a hermit throughout w3,4,5 and 6. I'm even almost a hermit this world too (apart from farming), and I had some problems yes, but if you have the right attitude towards a game it's fine :) I got pretty far each world too
Hope you have a great day

about the new worlds... does the entire game reset each year buildings and all. Also when is this world expiring?

Whenever the devs decide to make a new world (with or without reason like updates/server...).
And everything gets reset, buildings, map, characters, everything
