Hey im new and looking for a town or group that can teach me

hey im from new zealand im new to this game and i was wondering if any of you kind hearted folk would take me in and teach me the ways have had a wee play round made a bed cut down some trees etc. but yeah still pretty noob lol

If you want invites, you should describe yourself a bit more. People like to play with likeminded people.

What are you dreaming to accomplish in the game?
Why do you want to join a group rather than play alone? Are you aware of the downsides of joining a village?
What makes you a good person to have in a group? What role do you play?
What is the meaning of justice and fairness and what's the best way to promote it?

okay well im twenty years old ive played a few mmo's and few sandbox's like minecraft and terraria im a pretty laxed guy and yeah lol
as for my dreams in the game well.... i just want to be a good all rounder character i guess (probably change when i have a better grasp on the game things i like/dont etc)
downsides of being in a town no im not aware please enlighten me, i would prefer to have people to chat with while playing the game i guess and whats an mmo if your not going to play with other ppl right?
as for the meaning of justice and fairness well standard really dont steal from ppl in the city dont hord etc

Okay sure, no problem:

cons of every village ever--
expectation of recognition of authority
concept of shared responsibility
diminished or distorted definition of private property
limited decision making power of the individual

cons of the less desirable villages--
an impulsive villager and/or an unskilled diplomat might piss off the neighbors and get you all killed
a badly-vetted recruit might trash the whole town from the inside
a selfish or rude villager might spark internal drama that results in mistrust or violence
an indiscreet villager might tip off enemies to the village's security defects and location

But despite all that, I think the benefits of joining a village (companionship, learning the game faster, making connections with others, supporting eachother) far outweigh the detriments. Even in the worst villages, you will at the very least be learning lessons about what not to do.
